L.A. Confidentiel - Les Secrets de Lance Armstrong

Okay ...
I admit it ... Lafferty's incessant whinging about Lance Armstrong and doping, and to "just read the book", has made me go out an actually order a copy of it.
It recently arrived, and is quite an interesting read ... innuendo or fact, it's hard to tell.
One nice thing is that it is not written as a literary text ... meaning if you have any semblance of comprehension of the French language, you should be able to make it through this book with very little assistance of a dictionary or translator program. It's even simpler to read than www.lequipe.fr
Anyway, highly recommended.

One does begin to wonder if James Ellroy could have done better with the material. Willy Voet seems like a character he could have done something with. And David Walsh himself might not be a bad fit to be played by Kevin Spacey in the movie version.
Oh yeah, "Classement parmi les ventes Amazon.fr : 5 766." I fear we may have to wait a while for the translation.
