The AQB International Cricket (Test) ratings have been updated to 19 April 2005.
New Zealand sealed a 1-0 test series victory at home against Sri Lanka with an innings victory in Wellington in the second and final test. However, it wasn't enough to lift New Zealand ahead of Sri Lanka in the ratings, where New Zealand remain seventh and Sri Lanka sixth. South Africa have taken a 1-0 test series lead over West Indies after their 8-wicked victory in Port-of-Spain. South Africa remain third, and West Indies eighth. Australia are still top of the ratings.
