In Limited-overs International matches (qualifacation - more than one> match):>
Aus - CG Rackemann> BD - Harunur Rashid and Nurul Abedin> Ind - RMH Binny, AM Salvi and K Srikkanth> Nam - G Snyman and R Walters> NZ - DR Hadlee and GJ Hopkins
Perhaps a qualification of more than one innings would have been more appropriate. Hopkins has played five matches, but batted only in the last of these, being run out without facing a ball.

Aus - J Angel, PH Carlson, MTG Elliot, MG Hughes,> GD McGrath and JV Saunders
I didn't realise Aslam was an Englishman, praying for McGrath's retirement before the Ashes series.

Nonsense. Aslam is simply looking forward to the moment, at 4.41pm on Sunday 11 September, when Steve Harmison yorks McGrath with a ball which at first glance appears to be heading towards the square leg umpire, before reverse swinging at a right-angle to hit the base of leg stump. McGrath is out first ball; Harmison completes his hat-trick, giving him innings figures of 9-17 as Australia is dismissed for 53 chasing 59 to win, the only other wicket having been claimed by South African-born, British passport-holding 6'11" fast bowler Nelie Voorkenbastad. England wins the series 3-2 having recovered from a 2-0 deficit; Harmison is engulfed by his team mates and management, the celebrations being led by recalled wicket-keeper Alec Stewart and new coach Steve Waugh. McGrath bursts into tears, sets the stumps alight and promptly announces his retirement, whilst Harmison calmly hails a taxi in the Harleyford Road in an attempt to reach King's Cross station in time to catch the 1700 to Durham.
A chaotic post-match presentation follows. The ceremonial presentation of the ashes of the stump burnt by McGrath at the conclusion of the match is marred when the champion Australian fast bowler threatens to rip Mark Nicholas's head off, at which time visiting dignitary Jagmohan Dalmiya takes the opportunity to seize the microphone and announce that Monday's scheduled fifth day will be replaced by a one-day international for which tickets will be made available to patrons holding tickets for earlier days of the Test match at the special low price of 120 pounds sterling.

I realise Harmison isn't a metropolitan type but even he would realise that hailing a cab to King's Cross at 4:43pm in the Harleyford Rd, even on a relatively quiet Sunday afternoon, would not allow him to catch the 1700. He will be aiming for the 1730.

Nah, he is an Australian(or maybe a very pessismistic Englisman). He does not expect McGrath to bat in this series. 589/3 decl., 600/5 decl., 700/8 decl..............
