A good victory for NZ

Hard luck for SL. Tough conditions to play in. A good win for NZ after a
very tough summer playing Australia.

Shows a great divide between Australia and the rest of the world considering
Sri Lanka are meant to be No2

"Tough conditions..."?????
These were two of the best pitches I've ever seen from NZ. Or did you
mean that some win-crazed Kiwi was sneaking into the SL shed and using
up all the hot water?

I realise that Sri Lanka have been number twos in this series, but that> doesn't seem to relate to the first half of the sentence.>
In what sense are SL "meant" to be No2? Would this be some form of> manifest destiny, or does it express some religious belief? If it was> supposed to have anything to do with Test rankings, I suggest that you> check out http://www.icc-cricket.com/icc/test/ where you will note that> SL have dropped from fourth place to fifth.

Sorry based on Herman's Test Ratings! Either way, still a long way from No1
to whoever is No2...

The team walked off the tarmac into the middle in T1 and had a few days
break for T2. I certainly wouldn't use SL's current performance, given
the circumstances, as a yardstick.

Cheers,
Rod.
