Only idiots want him to retire now, especially since he has actually improved as a bowler in the last 2-3 years. Let's put it this way: If it was Murali Karthik, or Nilesh Kulkarni or Sunil Joshi yesterday instead of Kumble, how many people think India would have won?

My worry is how the hell are we going to replace Kumble when he retires? Gives me chills!
However, I must admit that few years back I wanted him to be dropped from the team. He had a horrible patch. Full credit to him the way he shut up his critics. Great achievement by Kumble. Is there any India Cricket Hall of Fame? Kumble should be way up there.
