I agree with you that the 15 degree rule is un-enforcable and thus is ridiculous. But my post wasn't to highlight that, it was more to highlight the fact that Bishen Bedi is what is "colorfully" referred to as a chutiya. This is not the first time he has made me believe that... but the pancreas statement was enough to seal the deal. If you honestly think that what he said was spot-on but put it in a colorful way, and that you actually consider his opinion to be valuable, then I feel sorry for you.

Apparently the ICC is diabetic.
It is truly sad to see a great author past his prime. You see a dash of genius here, but instead of the seamless poetry of a master craftsman at work, you get a non-descript hack with the occasional hint of brilliance.
Those such as Yuk Tang and myself who only bow at the altar of greatness, will instead remember his immortal prose, such as:
"In the present World Cup let us address ourselves to the Draconian ingredients to throw up Dutch Courage within the framework of playing conditions. For example, if the Sri Lankans are hell bent to spite the West Indians, who are back in the spasmodically, there is nothing in the rule book to prevent such a disgrace. I am deliberately talking Double Dutch in order to cast pearls before swine. I will not buy a pig in a poke." -- Bishen Singh Bedi in The News (Pakistan newspaper), March 1996
