Dramatic Collapses in ODIs

Guest 26 February 2005 03:31:56
In a match against West Indies in Sharjah, Sri Lanka lost 8 wickets for
10 runs. Harper got the first two and Walsh claimed the rest. Here is
a question, obviously targeting Aslam.

What were the lowest scores in the process of losing X number of
wickets.

There were too many instances of 3 wickets for 0 runs. Let us go from
four or more wickets. Would it be possible to list all instances when
4 or more wickets fell within 15 (or so) runs? This match may be at the
top of the lists of 4 (0 run), 5 (1 run), 6 (5 runs), 7 (6 runs) and 8
(10 runs) wickets for the least amount of runs.

Then Aslam may think about doing the same for the Tests as well.

[Should Boyden be given credit for bringing Hayden's confidence back?]

It's not an ODO, but there was an infamous match here a few years back.

I *think* it was Warwicks and Surrey. Warwicks made about 240 odd, and
Surrey had got to about 225/2 with masses of time left (Thorpe and Stewart
I think), and got bowled out ....
