How DRY was Golota?

My dad called the quick KO when he saw Golota come out so bone dry, and
Brewster so warmed up.

I agree. I could not believe how dry Golota was given his experience. Funny
thing is that I thought he could do it given his talent, but Lamon did what
he was supposed to do. Too bad for Andy, a talented, yet enigmatic
heavyweight who showed promised, but never lived up to his ability. Kinda
the opposite of John Ruiz eh?

Funny I was thinking likewise when I noticed how much Brewster was sweating
and then the camera panned over to Golota and he looked like a cold marble
statue.

Every boxer has set me up this year...I thought I did good by picking Dale
Brown to win though :)

I noticed that as well. Golota was clearly not anticipating nor ready
for a first round onslaught. And why should he have been? Nothing in
Brewster's previous fights would indicate he'd even be capable of such
a tactic. Especially his last fight with Mehan.

That being said, Golota should have at least worked up a sweat before
the first round.

Golota was VERY dry, but that wasn't the reason he lost. He simply couldn't
take the hard punshes from Brewster.

Golota was game against Ruiz and Byrd, but maybe he should retire because
his chin has let him down in his biggest fights (Lewis, Tyson, and
Brewster).
