Max Boxing Bans RingTalk.com

Reevee69 6 April 2005 08:39:48
In his April 1st article on www.maxboxing.com, Michael Katz states that he
is banning Pedro Fernandez's site (www.ringtalk.com ) from being linked in
MaxBoxing. He claims that Pedro's attacks on Norm Frauenheim of the Arizona
Republic are lies. Katz is mad that Pedro said that Norm Frauenheim is a
stooge for Top Rank. I wrote to Katz and told him it would be better if he
proves Pedro Fernandez wrong, instead of just calling him a liar and banning
him, which is the easy way out. I also cc'd editor Doug Fischer. So far no
response by either. I'm sure they are very busy men and by no means am I
being sarcastic.

Pedro is considered a blowhard by some in this group, but I was wondering if
anyone has some insight as to what really is going on. Is Frauenheim really
just a stooge or is Pedro carrying his vendetta against Top Rank a bit far?
This might not be a big deal to some, but this story intrigues me due to
Fernandez's allegations against Top Rank and their supposed actions towards
Yori Boy Campas.

Is this "Pedro" the same guy that has a radio talk show. I seem to remember
listening to him briefly during weekends. If it's the same guy, he is
definitely a BONEHEAD!

Bill Cayton? There 'll never be another man like Bill Cayton. And for
that we, the boxing fans, have lost much in the way of integrity in
the Sweet Science.

Jimmy Jacobs? Like Bill Cayton.
