he should also work, less on bodybuilding and more on mma. if he continues on this road, he will be hard force to stop. you can plainly see from his smile after the match... that he is hooked on mma. :o)))

It's these kind of comments that fuel the fire for the "Lesnar haters".
I
have never watched the WWE. I just happen to like Lesnar's style.
are you telling me an f5 wouldnt hurt?
I don't even know what an "f5" is. It just sounds like some BS move
that's
used in the "fake" wrestling league.
ha! so picking up a guy, twirling him around, and having him land face
first is " fake"?
if the other guy is co-operating what else can it be? sure it's athletic, sure it can be impressive, but it isnt real - there's no intention to hurt (unless someone is being unproffesional).

Lesnar is 500 times better, just not smarter. He was making Mir his

Lesner looked horrible.Scared shitless imo.
Just what I thought .At the end I think he was more glad that it was over more than anything .I reckon he has nothing when fighting a good fighter and if he can't put a weaker fighter away quickly he would tire and slow down considerably and if that happens what has he got? submissions? knockout ability? nothing.... it will be a long road for Brock
he should also work, less on bodybuilding and more on mma.

Agreed, Brock is a true competitor and sportsman, I look forward to seeing much more of him. He is abviously feeling like he's found a new home where he can "comptete" rather than read a script.
I arent really big on either UFC or WWF, but I have alot of connections in UFC and saw photos etc of Lesnar from WWF days, he has to come down to 265 lbs from whatever he was before! They did tell me he had extensive wrestling experience so he's not just an actor deciding to have a go at MMA.
As for Khan, I think they keep comparing him to Hamed but I see no real connection, or even a hint that he has the same degree of potential. Im also wondering about the chin. Limmond is known for being a "light puncher" yet really should have stopped Amir during their fight had he not gotten the long count. Scotty is a known lighter puncher (boxer type) and now this guy, a definite ex World Champ, known for being a light puncher etc. I wonder if the Thaxton fight will be made or not! because for all the limitations we know Thaxton CAN punch!

Wow, lesnar looked so small compared to his WWF days! Amazing - he reminds
me of Golota almost!
I never watched WWF. Was he actually bigger than that in the past? Because he's not exactly a seven stone weakling now.
He didn't look like he had any idea on how to win. He was stuck in the Severn/Coleman era of MMA in that he knew how to maintain positional advantage but didn't know how to damage his opponent.
On a more appropriate note, what do you make of Khan? I think he has better balance and footwork than any British fighter for years. However, his lack of power is really going to hurt when he steps up. The nervousness of the UK commentators reminds me of when I used to watch Charlie Magri fights - he would outbox the competition, but couldn't hurt them, and could collapse at any moment. Khan, however, even if he can't hit, appears to be able to take a punch.

Mir has never looked the same and has looked eminently vulnerable since comng back from his motorcycle accident.
So I think the veredict on either of them is still out. This was good matchmaking - a credible MMA name (Mir) against a marketable one (Lesnar), and either one's shortcomings fed into the credibility of the match - despite the obvous questions.
Sounds like boxing for the last 10 years
Now they can come back and get their respective behinds kicked against the real forces of the division if their management gets carried away...
