I have had a little Gheenoe (sort of a canoe but wider flatter and more stable) for about 10 years or so and I've always had a problem with the fiberglass interior. It's a rough fiberglass that gets in your skin. What would be the best thing to seal it with? Some sort of clearcoat? I don't want it to become slippery but I'm tired of picking fiberglass out of my skin. I thought about a spray in bed liner but I don't know if that will even work and it would probably be expensive.
Actually, a roll on type of bedliner or epoxy paint that you can build up a good layer would probably work good. Just use a light color so it does not get so hot.
Other than that - I would glue in some carpet but if it is used for fishing - carpet gets nasty and is a lot harder to clean than just washing out the boat w/ a hose.

If it were mine, I'd sand down the rough spots and then coat it with>epoxy.

Sand down the rough spots and then paint it with an epoxy paint, similar to the paint offered at http://www.yachtpaint.com/usa/

I have to agree with Gould on this one.
