No we wouldn't. Pressuring the Saudis in such a way to make them "lose
face" would only send oil to $80-100/barrel virtually overnight.


Saudi Arabia is in the middle of a Civil War between the current ruling
family and the bin Laden-sympathizing Wahabbists. Bush is playing the only
card available until oil production from Alaska and Iraq is ramped up.

What would you have him do differently?
