The truth is the whole thing was a simple mistake. Bush said attack Iran, but due to a typo, Tommy Franks invaded Iraq. The "Q" got confused with the "N"; it could happen to anybody.
The important thing is that we forget about the Saudis' role in 9/11, which is really helpful when the Republicans and James Baker's law firm have decided to represent the Saudi Royal's instead of the American people and victims of Osama bin Laden's madness.
Whatever happened to Osama? Bush doesn't think about him much after he flew his family out of the USA right after 9-11.

It happened to Ted Kennedy when he called Obama "Osama". But Ted has an excuse: alcohol. Lots and lots of alcohol.

What bases would they be? Perhaps you haven't been paying attention, but Sistani's slate won the Iraqi election. We have a UN mandate to stay in Iraq through years end, after that. . . Sistani has maintained all along we will have to leave.

Worry not. Bert is planning to re-enlist in Da Marines, and once again defend US interests from a stateside base.
