Have we ever been shown a cutaway of a Predator ferrule and tenon? I don't remember seeing one. I'm interested to see if there's a space between the ferrule's sidewalls and the tenon as we've heard (or is that another shaft?).

I think you are thinking about the Meucci ferrule. The Predator ferrule is attached to a hollow plastic "tenon" that slides into the hollow shaft. The tenon is a thin-walled tube. I'm not sure what it is made of, but it is supposed to be stiff, not flexible.

Hey, Mike, how about slicing that Predator ferrule in half and posting a pic for the curious? Anybody got a Meucci Black Dot shaft to sacrifice for comparison?
