I will be in Times sq area for the next couple of days, prior to the SBE in VF. Any one know of a good place to play? I read some of the old posts regarding places but none were recent enough to bank on them being around still.
There aren't really any place near Times Square. You have to travel a bit to play: try Corner Billiards or Amsterdam. You could also go to Slate if you need a fix ;)
I think that there are weekly tournaments at Master's on Wednesdays. And you just missed the one at Racks in Astoria. They have a good turn out on Mondays.

FL will be in the city, in Brooklyn and in Jersey at the end of April, who wants lessons, who wants a trick shot show, he will be with Max the Wonder dog. 770-381-6609. He is only in the metro area for 3 days and his time is now booking up very fast, snooze and you lose. He is doing a pool school with Grady Mathews in DC right after the NYC gigs.
