Well, the B12 is done, and they're a big disappointment: only six wins when they should have had eight. The biggest culprit, of course, was Kansas. The B10, meanwhile, has already exceeded expectations.
So, without further ado, here are the expected wins for each conference in the NCAA tournament. Conferences that were projected to have fewer than one win and had zero wins are omitted:
ACC 10.91 (10-11), 9*: UNC (1, 3.33, 3*), Duke (1, 3.33, 2), Wake Forest (2, 2.43, 1), Georgia Tech (5, 1.14, 1), NC State (10, 0.68, 2)
Big Ten 7.15 (7-8), 9*: Illinois (1, 3.33, 3*), Michigan State (5, 1.14, 3*), Wisconsin (6, 1.29, 3*), Minnesota (8, 0.71, 0), Iowa (10, 0.68, 0)
Big East 8.07 (8-9), 7*: UConn (2, 2.43, 1), Boston College (4, 1.54, 1), Syracuse (4, 1.54, 0), Villanova (5, 1.14, 2), West Virginia (7, 0.83, 3*), Pitt (9, 0.59, 0)

What about the :America East?
Third for the Airline Conference. #14 Siena beat Stanford in '89, and #12 Drexel beat Memphis in '96. The Patriot league did get its first win, joining the now-defunct American South and the SWAC as one-win conferences in the 64+ era. : rew
