News from May 20.

Boston extended Danny Ainge's (basketball operations director) contract by
3 years. He is now signed through 08-09.


Pho 130, Dal 126 OT at Dal
Shawn Marion (Pho) had 38 points and 16 rebounds in 51 minutes.
Amare Stoudemire (Pho) had 18 points including 7-11 FG, 6 rebounds, and 5
turnovers.
Steve Nash (Pho) had 39 points including 14-24 FG and 5-8 3-pointers, 9
rebounds including 5 offensive, and 12 assists in 50 minutes.
Jim Jackson (Pho) had 16 points including 4-7 3-pointers and 7 rebounds.
Josh Howard (Dal) had 21 points and 14 rebounds.
Dirk Nowitzki (Dal) had 28 points including 8-10 FT, 13 rebounds, and 6
assists in 51 minutes.
Jason Terry (Dal) had 36 points including 4-7 3-pointers and 5 rebounds.
Jerry Stackhouse (Dal) had 19 points on 4-13 FG and 11-12 FT.
Joe Johnson (Pho, fractured orbital bone) and Keith Van Horn (Dal, sprained
left ankle) did not play.
Phoenix takes the series 4-2 and advances to the Western Conference Finals.
