Hey, I thought June was just for me, you, and Ted. Well, I know Ted spends
his summers at the Cape, but they got Internet there now! Oh, George is
usually still around. And maybe one or two others.

For sure. I didn't know about this group until just a
couple of months ago. I woofed Duke in the Lakers group
with the explanation that I just had to woof but couldn't
find a Duke group to do it in. A poster there steered me to
this group as being full of Duke and ACC fans. Of course, I
have since discovered that woofing Duke in here is bad
manners so I try to hold it down to avoid the admonishments
of Ted, and the weird irrational attacks of one who knows
who he is. :-)

You can woof anyone and everyone in the Laker group. Though I'm
guessing Duke woofing would annoy Wolner.

It's wild in there, alright. With all the Kobe/Kaitlin,
Kobe/Shaq, politics, religion, etc., etc., ad infinitum,
it's hard to find the threads that actually discuss
basketball. Every other thread seems to be labelled OT, and
every other thread with no OT label ought to have one.

It's official according to the IETF that sig lines are designated by two
dashes followed by a space, and that sigs may and indeed should be
trimmed in quoting.

In other words, your request is naive.

I think I will do a more radical trimming job on you, though....*plonk*

Howard has really impressed me. Everyone overlooked him on draft day,
but the Mavs really lucked out--well they draft well. Now if only we
could get them a coach who can win it all...

Oh, it looks like Howard's success will probably help out Julius Hodge,
another ACC POY who confuses the NBA scouts. I really think he can make
the transition to a NBA 2, I'm sure the Mavs would love to have him :)

That was a heck of an ending to regulation. Good call by the
officials, too -- looked to me like his foot was off the line. (If by
only a pixel.)

Note to Michigan State: It doesn't matter how much time is left, you
still need to BOX OUT. With 2.5 seconds left, Kentucky couldn't have
done much if they just got the ball under the hoop; they'd need to get
it out to the perimeter. Best to try guarding the three guys handing
out there.

maybe it will work for him later, and he'll look a hero again.

got a prob with my a-5. it starts shooting fine. good velocity and

I had that on my remote tap on the top of my tank. My lad turned it on as
it was on my back and tightened it all the way. I normally turn it all the
way then back out a half turn. I was firing a few shots fine then the shots
got weaker until I waited a few moments then go alright again.

our team just did a bunch of pix for an article in a new paintball to
extremes mag. don't know which issue yet or what month it will be in
though. we are stoked about being in something like that. we also found
out that some folks doing a t.v.show about scenerio ball shot alot of
film during the last charleston game and we are in some of it with our
little tank and me with one of our shoulder launchers. so now i gotta
ind out what show and when of course :-)
glad to see you are still getting it done tony. let me get resettled
into my grove and i'll find something to start an argument with you
about again LoL :-)

What show? Your show? I've gone to that site a couple times and I
can't find any vid clips about paintball. There seems to be one working
vid clip that is an ensemble piece and if I remember there is a short
bit with some paintball stuff, but nothing dedicated. Am I missing it
or what's the deal?

Besides that, let's see. I sold a couple of old BOA barrels on ebay,
one of them a Concealer for $100. Woohoo. Some dirt bag jerked me
around for 3 weeks over a laptop I sold. Hmm, wife had another kid
(think I mentioned that) and just made reservations to head back to
Japan for another 30 day stint. Dragging along the mother unit this
time so she can see a bit of the world besides Ohio USA. I can't
IMAGINE being one of those folks born, raised, and buried in Smalltown
USA and never really knowing anything else.

It sounds like it is having an airflow problem. When you hold of
firing the airflow/pressure has a chance to catch up and then you
unload it again and start over. I would go ahead and replace the
O-rings to eliminate that. Do you have an expansion chamber? Double
check it's seals. Take your remote of and plug the bottle directly to
the marker and see if that fixes it. You could have a crimped line,
it is rare but it does happen. Does your cyclone still work and stay
with the marker properly? If not it could be an air leak through it
and you would not know until you fired it and the noise would cover
the leaking noise. Just some ideas but I think it is probably your
remote.

nope, no expansion chamber. the cyclone seems to work fine. i haven't
done anything with it yet. playing a big game on the 31st so i'll get to
it this week. my first thing will be the remote cap. may have a leak or
something. then i'll go back into it. the gun was working fine ever
since i got it a year ago. never had a problem then i took it apart to
put in a flatline barrel and since i put it back together the thing
hasn't worked right since. and since i mostly use a launcher (tank
hunter) when we play big games, i just haven't used the gun very much
(except for night games).

i look at it this way... my social life is pretty dull so, this gives me
something to do in the evenings when i'm sitting home bored out of my
wits LoL :-)

It's defiantly not an air leak, you have a restriction of air charging your
firing chamber from between there and your tank ie:-plumbers tape, blocked
micro mesh, piece of dry Locktite, dirt, chunk or disturbed "O" seal.

A JT that I had a bit back had Plumbers tape obstructing the low pressure
chamber by sticking to the micro mesh filter in the block, this had the same
effect you describe, and an over tightened on/off on my remote also a few
weeks ago on my Spyder had the same symptoms, so I'm certain it's air
restriction and no leak.

Have you taken the hose off that feeds the maker from the bottom of the
trigger grip? Is there normally a small seal on the end and has it blown in
the end of the pipe?

Blazer fan here, and I am simply going apeshit watching this series. Two
teams just throwing HAYMAKERS at each other... dagger three after
ice-cold-blooded three.. run and gun, good defense, elite players being
elite players and role players stepping up to the plate. This series is why
I fell in love with NBA basketball at a young age. I will say, however, that
this series is really putting a spotlight on the sorry state of reffing in
the league. Tonight's game was ALMOST stolen from both teams by the zebra's
egos, and the integrity of the game is really being threatened. Game 6 on
Thursday might be the best NBA game in years, and I can't wait for it.

Something funny I saw...Early in the game I think it was JRich that after a layup used the ref
(Bernie Fryer IIRC) for a bowling ball with several photograghers as the pins...just wiped him out
and did not stay around to see if he was OK. I thought 'man he is not getting any calls'...sure
enough next time he touched the ball he was called for traveling by the same ref and looked quite
puzzled...

I get back from a few days in Cabo, and this place becomes a peaceful haven
for discussions about boats and fishing. I notice one person in particular
is missing.... hmmm was that the key? Of course it was... LOL!

Welcome to the new and improved rec.boats. I sure as hell hopes it stays
this way.

How was the fishing in Cabo? Need to get down there. We own part of a

From all accounts, fishing was great. I didn't get out, since we were just
there for 3 days. It sure as hell was hot though.

There was a big deal about a group of commercial tuna boats fishing with
nets just 2 miles from shore. Apparently, the law says that they aren't to
be any closer than 12 or 15 miles, but the Mexican Navy didn't get involved.
The locals are afraid that the bill fish will get caught up in the nets
while they're chasing the tuna. I suppose the same would happen 15 miles
from shore as well?

I would bet that the commercial boats paid off the Mexican Navy so
that they could make some money near shore. Some big politico has to
turn a blind eye to it for that to happen 2 miles from shore.<<

It sure seems like that was the case. The sportfish boats claimed that they
radioed and begged the navy to intervene, but nothing happened.

If there were 1 miles of Shoreline that was safe from the "kill them
all" nets and long lines then there would be room for breeding and
reproductive biomass. Sustainability is what fishermen and sportsmen
have been about for most of the last 150 years. Sportfishing catch is
