That was sickening, especially since he'll blame himself, although it could hardly be his fault the game was so close.
My own beloved UK has to take its goddam starting point guard out at the end of every close game, to avoid deliberate fouling of him and losing the game at the free- throw line.
Rondo had better shoot FTs this Summer like no one has ever shot free throws before.
(Otherwise, he's perfectly perfect.)

Actually, it was his 'fault' the game was so close - without him, Memphis would have lost by double digits.

Yeah, I saw that. Still sucks not to be able to hit two outa three.
Hopefully, he'll get over it, over the Summer-- although I wouldn't be surprised to find it's a regular feature of his nightmares, down moods or bad trips for years to come.

another ironic twist...at the crack of dawn this morning, espn2 was showing last year's slam dunk championship prelude to the mcdonald's game where candace parker won the crown...the two that kept missing enough dunks to lose to a girl?...joe crawford and, yep, you guessed it, darius washington jr.
