Thank God for Raymond Felton. He didn't succumb to the "it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys." He soared like an eagle, and finally the turkeys around him decided to start acting like the eagles they were SUPPOSED to be.
It was nice to see Rashad McCants back, and effective. Clearly this was not a case of McCants' comeback affecting chemistry. It was a case of the team--sans Felton and MAYBE McCants--playing like turkeys and, really, deserving to lose.
I am glad we will be playing tomorrow, and as a Tar Heel fan that side of me is glad we won--but in another way, I wish we would've lost. I don't want us thinking that we can play like that and still win, it's not the right message to get out of this and I fear it may be the one we will get--although hopefully Raymond & Roy will make sure the others realize just what almost happened to them.
