So, is this their best season ever?
Not yet.
What have been their high points?
Some of those mid-1980's Metro conference teams won 20+ games, spent several weeks in the top 25 and went to the NCAA tournament. The Metro was no slouch then either, it had Louisville, Memphis State, and Cincy. Also, in their first year in the Metro, the Hokies won the conference tournament. Charlie Moir had some very good teams that toiled in Metro obscurity in the shadow of the ACC (think Dell Curry).
This may be the most emotionally satisfying year for the Hokies, or the best year in most peoples' memory, but it's not our best year ever, from just looking at records and accomplishments. If the Hokies make some noise in the ACC tourney, then get to the NCAAs and win one or two games there, then it will be IMO.

I guess he found another use for the butter that game. Hmmm, maybe it was all part of his secret plan. Best not to take any chances, let him have his toast dry from now on. (He can always dip it in the gin.)
