Presumably the Nationals won't be playing six rivalry games against the Blue Jays next year but against the Orioles instead. The Orioles' rivalry games were 3 against the Phillies and 3 against the Braves. Will Toronto just pick up those games, or will there be some attempt to play someone a bit closer than Atlanta?
Where is the nearest NL team to Toronto anyway?

Where is the nearest NL team to Toronto anyway?> Pittsburgh> Using http://www.savewealth.com/travel/airportdistance/> I got 200 Nautical Miles, 227 Statute Miles and 322 kilometers.> Philly was the next closest.
Of course, this is now something of a zoo, since now the Braves, Sox, Phillies, and Blue Jays are left holding the bag.
I always liked the makeshift Braves-Sox rivalry, and the Phillies-Blue Jays rivarly would give everyone an excuse to break out their J** C***** highlight reels. But they are by no means geographic rivalries.
Then again, neither is the San Diego-Seattle matchup every year.
